Ryder Taff, CFA, CIPM

Portfolio Manager

Ryder Taff joined the New Perspectives family in January 2011 after graduating the University of Bristol with a B.S. in Mathematics and Philosophy. After passing all three of his CFA exams while working here, he became a Charterholder in January 2015.  Ryder also passed both exams in the Certificate of Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) Program, earning the CIPM designation in December 2015. Ryder has joined Nancy as co-host of MPB's Money Talks radio program. Ryder also wrote P.I.G.G.Y. Plan-It: Prudent Investors Get Going Young! His author page on Amazon is amazon.com/author/rydertaff.

Ryder's interest in investment analysis goes back to when he was eight and realized that owning part of Coca-Cola was different, and far more interesting, than merely having a cold glass bottle of coke on a hot day. He has been reading annual reports and proxy statements ever since.

Ryder regularly contributes to Parents & Kids Magazine through the column, Mississippi Money, and is often quoted in pieces about personal finance. To read Ryder's articles, click the "Mississippi Money" image.

He is a Board Member of the CFA Society of Mississippi, the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science and the Madison-Ridgeland Rotary Club.

Despite a love of travel and three years spent overseas in college, Ryder is back in the neighborhood he grew up in, where he lives with his newlywed wife, Blair.
